Personal Statement:
Experienced environmental conservationist, with a science and health background. Able to see things from the human and the ecological angle. With an established knowledge, backed up with academic qualifications and a graduate membership of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). Having a strong social conscience blended with years of hands on action research in living sustainably. Able to research, report findings, lead group discussions and present ideas in various formats and give you good advice. Passionate about using resources responsibly, I am currently undertaking a solar and wind energy course part time, a supporter of World Vision and International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) and have previously been a student member of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management (CIWM).

Personal Statement:
I provide advice which has an emphasis on issues relating to the agricultural community. I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health, a Member of the Instutute of Environmental Science and have undertaken work in the following fields: Hazard critcal point plans, Waste Licence Applications, Sustainability reports, Environmental Impact Assessments, Waste minimisation plans, Energy audits and renewable energy advice, organic conversions, and advice on legislative compliance. I provide expert reports, presentations and support for applications and projects. I have worked for Summit Skills on their Diversity Project as project manager, the report I wrote was delivered to the Welsh Assembly Government (WAG). Also on on the Knowledge Exchange Foundation, on the Technology Transfer Network for the EU, in liason with Cardiff University. I was a reasercher for the Wales Energy Standards and Training project which was also submitted to WAG. I have written reports for private cleints that have been submitted to Carmarthenshire County Council, which included a Sustainability and Viability Report also a Buisness report for a planning application.

Over 25 years I have worked within the environmental sector, specialising in the field of sustainable energy issues relating to: energy management, auditing, energy efficiency and renewable technologies in the built environment, Climate Change issues including recycling and reduction of waste. As well as technical expertise I have demonstrated my abilities to communicate well and also to engage and enthuse others in sustainability issues, have research and scoping study experience across a number of issues including a climate change strategy which incorporated recycling and waste collection, for a Housing Trust. Worked strategically on a local, regional and national basis, networking and developing many innovative successful initiatives and partnerships; demonstrating my creativity with new concepts, and my abilities to ensure the delivery of projects: Clients have included Local authorities and consortiums from Cheshire, Merseyside, North and mid Wales.
